Caring for Your Brushes

Caring for Your Brushes

Keeping your brushes clean is the best way to maintain their integrity and ensure they continue to perform optimally. Here are some tips to help you care for your brushes:

1. Rinse well after each job

Rinse your brush until the color is completely out. That's it.

2. Reshape the bristles

Use your fingers to gently squeeze out any remaining water, starting at the base of the bristles and working toward the tip. As you go, pinch the bristles back into a tight, clean edge. This helps keep the shape sharp and makes the brush last longer.

3. Lay it flat and let it air dry

Lay your brush flat and let it air dry. It doesn’t need to be fully dry before your next job — just make sure there’s no extra water left in the bristles.
